SenseWalk’s team presented the findings of its studies at the 19th Panhellenic Conference of Psychological Research!

The SenseWalk project team is excited for presenting findings from various research studies at the 19thPanhellenic Conference of Psychological Research, taking place from May 7 to 11 in Ioannina, Greece. Our presentations explored the impact of age-related disturbances in multisensory perception and cognitive functions on gait pattern (Simoudi et al., 2025a), as well as the role of auditory cues and cognitive load on walking behavior in young population (Tachmatzidou & Vatakis, 2025). Additionally, we presented the association between mental time travel and time perception deficits in patients with Alzheimer’s disease (Simoudi et al., 2025b), and also the role of cognitive functions and mental time travel in former psychotropic substance users (Simoudi et al., 2025c). These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of how cognitive and perceptual processes affect motor behavior in elderly population, and how these processes alter in case of clinical populations, as well.
