SenseWalk will be accomplished by monitoring healthy but ageing individuals, while navigating in the laboratory in specific test periods. The monitoring techniques will allow the definition of a baseline performance and will include measurements of gait parameters, cognitive, sensory, multisensory, and temporal processing. Monitoring will be personalized and, thus, deviations from baseline and/or healthy thresholds will be detected and addressed with specific experimental set-ups. These experimental set-ups will include multisensory, temporal, and cognitive processing training regimes to ameliorate sensory, temporal, and cognitive impairments, enhance perceptual skills, exploit multisensory processing strategies, and, thereby, promote a healthier inclusion of the elder to daily life activities.
